"Clueless" actress Stacey Dash has accused the BET (Black Entertainment Television) network of lying to black Americans by "telling them that the rest of America is racist."
The 49-year-old star has been embroiled in a feud with the network ever since she told Fox News she wanted to get rid of the BET and their annual awards show, reported Hollywood Life.
The feud started when Dash appeared on "Fox & Friends" and said, "If we don't want segregation, then we have to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the Image Awards, where you're only awarded if you're black."
"If it were the other way around, we'd be up in arms. It's a double standard. There shouldn't be a black history month. We're Americans, period."
Following Dash's comments the BET network tweeted a picture of Dash on their show "The Game" and wrote, 'Soooooo @REALStaceyDash can we get our check back... Or nah?'
Writing on her blog, Dash fired back saying that most people had never heard of "The Game" because it was on the BET Network.

"Name the top shows on BET. Drawing a blank?I think I've made my point. BET lies to American black people by telling them that the rest of America is racist, so stick close to your own kind. Anything that promotes segregation is bad!", Dash wrote.
"And they're absolutely mortified that someone like me - an independent-thinking black woman - dares call their bluff."
Actress Whoopi Goldberg has also criticised Dash for her comments, especially regarding Black History Month.
"It's not taught. As it pertains to America. American history holds all of us but we're not all treated like Americans. One of the reasons there is a BET is because networks wouldn't take a lot of the shows that have an all-black cast.
