The film, based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and directed by Nitesh Tiwari, released in the theatres on December 23.
It has been declared tax free in four states - Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana and Delhi - to promote 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao', a Government of India's social campaign aiming to reduce selective abortion of females, to protect girls and to educate them.
The Delhi Government will be organising screening of the film for 4,500 students enrolled in its schools between January 20 and 24.
"People will be sensitised towards ensuring equal opportunities of good health and education for their daughters as their sons. Other ideas include shunning dowry, standing up for equal property rights for daughters, stigmatising gender based sex selection and welcoming daughters in ones lives and homes," he added.
