Addressing a gathering in Maharajpur village in Pindauria here, Akhilesh said BJP led Central government had blocked our 'Kanya Vidya Dhan Yojana' and then started the 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' scheme, which was a different form of the same scheme, he said.
He said there is a plan as per which police will immediately reach a specific place when called to curb crime.
Akhilesh also said that his government has done a lot in public interest and that the plans for laptop distribution and unemployment allowance are the part of it.
Amethi MLA and cabinet minister Gayatri Prasad Prajapati was also present on the occasion.
