BFI's school league reaches Dehradun

The Basketball Federation of India (BFI) that recently launched its two leagues -- Indian School Basketball League and Indian College Basketball League -- in collaboration with IMG Reliance, saw the school league reaching Dehradun today.
The college league had commenced in Indore and New Delhi earlier.
Hosted at the Doon International School, day one opened with Kasiga School beating Pestle Weed School 25-22, while Doon School defeated St. Mary's boys 39-14 in a lopsided contest.
Doon International School got the better of St. George's boys 35-23 and Hilton School prevailed over the Aryan School 25-24.
Meanwhile, day two of Premier League of Indian College Basketball League wasn't the one to remember for hosts IIST Indore as they lost 38-57 against Islamia Karimia College's boys. Second fixture was a no contest as Prestige Engineering got a walkover against Acropolis Institute - 2.
In girls' category, Shri Vaibhav Institute beat IIST 9-7 to conclude nightmarish day for the hosts.
