The Chennai-based company had registered net profit of Rs 19.09 crore during the same quarter of the previous year, BGR Energy Systems said in a statement.
For the financial year ending March 31, 2015, the firm's consolidated net profit declined by 68.5 per cent to Rs 30.23 crore from Rs 96.06 crore registered during the year-ago period.
Total income from operations for the January-March 2015 quarter grew to Rs 1,047.63 crore from Rs 812.23 crore registered during the corresponding quarter last year.
The company said the construction and EPC contracts segment contributed over 93 per cent to revenues of Rs 973.87 crore.
The company's focus on execution and collection of receivables across all projects enabled it to realize an EBITDA of Rs 89.02 crore at 8.50 per cent of the income from operations for the fourth quarter of financial year 2014-15.
As of March 31, 2015 the company carried over an order book of Rs 9,375 crore, it said.
