The vigilance bureau -- which had lodged an FIR with the vigilance police station against Dard on October 31, 2017 - said that Dard and his wife got 19 plots registered in their names in Patna and Gaya apart from a flat at the Bihar state capital, the release said adding that he has also made investments in several financial instruments.
After obtaining search warrants from the concerned court, the bureau today conducted searches at Dard's residence and office at Bhagalpur and at his flat in Patna from where it got documents that showed Dard has acquired disproportionate assets of Rs 77,85,546 from his known sources of income.
The bureau, which found Rs 66,000 cash from Dard's residence at Bhagalpur, has found evidences and documents that showed that Dard has misused his position and office to acquire properties worth several crore, it said.
