"The agreement envisages supply of critical and high integrity forged and machined components for a range of aero engines, including the flagship Trent engine," Bharat Forge said in a statement.

"This supply-chain partnership with Rolls-Royce is a momentous step towards achieving our stated goal of $100 million revenues from the aerospace sector."
The pact follows a period of collaboration over the last 18 months to define and secure the necessary level of stringent quality and process approvals, Bharat Forge said.
Bharat Forge is the flagship company of the $3 billion Kalyani Group. It is a global provider of high performance, innovative, safety and critical components and solutions to various industrial sectors including automotive, oil and gas, power and aerospace among others.
Rolls-Royce is a world leader in integrated power systems for use in the air, on land and at sea.
Shares of Bharat Forge were trading at Rs 804.50 in the mid-day trade, up 1.44 per cent on BSE.
