As part of this, the company rolled out 'E-Shakti', a scheme to build Internet awareness and literacy among women in Madhya Pradesh, the company said in a statement.
"Internet has the potential to transform society into a strong, prosperous & progressive ecosystem. The increased adoption of Internet among women of Madhya Pradesh would help bridge the digital divide," Bharti Airtel CEO for MP and Chhattisgarh Vir Inder Nath said.
A training session was also conducted at the launch for over 300 girl students.
The first phase will be conducted across six districts of Madhya Pradesh - Bhopal, Dewas, Gwalior, Damoh, Dhar and Satna.
