Bhola's custody extended till Dec 9

A court here today extended by three days the police custody of dismissed Punjab police DSP Jagdish Singh alias Bhola, alleged druglord, arrested last month for opertaing a multi-crore synthetic drug racket.
After expiry of his police remand, Bhola was produced in a local court under tight security arrangements.
The prosecution told the court that during police interrogation the police had recovered 5 kg pseudoephedrine and half kilogram narcotic powder from a place at Nabha Road in Patiala, which was hidden by Bhola.
The court remanded him to police custody till December 9.
Meanwhile, alleged kingpin of Delhi-based drug racket Dev Behl and his associates Rakesh Tinku and Mohinder Singh, who were arrested yesterday, were also presented in the court.
The prosecution told that the court that the trio was involved in a multi-crore international synthetic drug racket which smuggled drugs into Canada.
The court remanded the three also to police custody till December 9.
Police has also taken search warrant from the court to conduct raid at a drug manufacturing unit.
