Bhoomi puja for fish landing centres performed

The "Bhoomi pooja" for the five fish-landing centres to be constructed at Dhanushkodi were performed today.
Assistant Director of Fisheries Gopinathan said the centres would come up at Dhanushkodi, Mukundharayar Chattiram, Pamban, Thangachimadam and Vethalai.
The centres would have facilities including approach jetty, landing jetty auction hall and fish drying platforms.
