Bhopal: airport under IT dept scanner during election time

The Income Tax Department has set up an Air Intelligence Unit at the Bhopal Airport and also deployed Sub-Nodal Officers at a few other places for monitoring the flow of cash and other materials ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
The AIU would particularly keep an eye on private chartered planes and helicopters, official sources said.
Sub-Nodal Officers have been deployed at Khajuraho, Gwalior, Ujjain, Satna and Rewa.
