Bhullar drops out of top 10, Joshi best Indian in Jakarta

Gaganjeet Bhullar was hit by a double bogey on the back-nine and dropped out of top 10 in the weather-hit Indonesia Open golf tournament, here today.
With a final round 73, Bhullar, winner of the Macao Open a week earlier, finished tied 18 at the Pondok Indah Golf Course.
The best Indian, however, was Khalin Joshi, who had a sedate two-under 70 with three birdies against one bogey for a tied 14th place finish.
Meanwhile, young Thai talent Panuphol Pittayarat played 25 holes today to claim a huge five-shot victory for his maiden Asian Tour title.
The 24-year-old Panuphol returned in the morning to finish the remaining seven holes from his third round where he signed for a five-under-par 67 to lead by three shots heading into the final round.
He shot a final round of seven-under 65 to win in a commanding manner with a total of 23-under 265 and five clear of countryman Tirawat Kaewsiribandit (67-67) who was 18-under 270.
Among other Indians, Udayan Mane (71) and Honey Baisoya (68) finished tied 27th at six-under 282, while Ajeetesh Sandhu (75) and Arjun Prasad (70) were tied 45th at two-under 286.
Daniel Chopra (71) was tied 54th and Himmat Rai (73) was tied 65th.
