"We are very happy that the Hon'ble Prime Minister of Bhutan, Tshering Tobgay, has kindly consented to participate in the Bengal Global Business Summit in January 2016," Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said in a statement here.
"Bengal is waiting for his visit to Kolkata," she added.
The state government had invited Bhutanese King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Tobgay for the business summit.
Banerjee had gone to Bhutan last month on a five-day official visit with the aim of attracting investment. She held talks with the leadership and attended a business conclave there.
