Bibek Sardar, Chowrasia share lead in Tolly Juniors Golf

Local lad Bibek Sardar and Sunit Chowrasia shot 75 apiece to share the lead in the opening round of the Tolly Juniors Cup, the fourth leg of the Tata Steel IGU East Zone Junior Tour, at the Tollygunge Golf Club here today.
Bibek and Sunit were three shots clear of the third placed Gurkirat Singh in the top category (A and B).
Bibek also topped Category B with Sreenjoy Majumadar, Bishwam Ghosh, Gurshan Singh Grewal and Surya Sikhar Bose being tied for the second place with a score of 83 each.
Sandeep Yadav who shot a 76, took a eight-shot lead in Category C.

Manish Rajak was lying second at 84 while Abhikanks Basu was third at 86.
Rajib Ali emerged as the leader in Category D when he shot a 79. Arav Shanghavi was second at 100 while Divij Sehgal was third at 101.
Gurman Kaur topped the Girls Junior with a score of 82 while Mamta Saraogi and Siddhi Kapoor were second and third with cards of 83 and 87 respectively.
