: Gold, premium iphones, computer processors and beauty enhancement drugs were seized in three different incidents at the airport here Saturday, Customs officials said.
In the first incident, a 59-year-old passenger who arrived from Bangkok was found carrying the beauty enhancement drugs worth Rs 5 lakh in the baggage, they said in a press release.
In the second incident, a 23-year-old passenger upon his arrival from Dubai was detained for carrying Apple iphones and computer processors valued at Rs 13.15 lakh, they said.
In the third, a 33-year-old passenger from Singapore was checked on suspicion and was interrogated during which he confessed to have concealed gold in his rectum. The gold was worth Rs 15.61 lakh, they added.
