Bidhan Memorial Trust to celebrate Nehru's birth anniversary

On the lines of 125th birth anniversary celebrations of India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru by Congress central leadership, Bidhan Memorial Trust in Kolkata, housed in state Congress office, is all set to commemorate the occasion.
"On behalf of the Bidhan Memorial Trust, we will be commemorating the 125th Birth anniversary of Nehruji by organising two-day celebrations starting November 14," Congress MP and a member of Bidhan Memorial Trust Pradip Bhattacharya said.
Bhattacharya said the programme is being organised by Bidhan Memorial Trust and several Congress leaders including state unit President Adhir Chowdhury and Manas Bhunia would attend.
"This is being organised to uphold and spread the ideals of secularism in the state, at a time when the secular fabric of West Bengal faces threat from communal forces," Bhattacharya said.
