Ramadhar Singh and Giriraj Singh, former Cooperative and Animal Husbandry Ministers respectively in the NDA government, have sat on an indefinite dharna since yesterday in front of state Assembly alleging "conspiracy" against them by the Chief Minister after a JD(U) MLA alleged that they "swindled" crores of rupees meant to be paid to farmers as insurance claim and demanded a statement from Nitish Kumar.
The Chief Minister, however, was absent from the Assembly.
BJP members trooped into the well shouting anti-government and anti-CM slogans before JD(U) members sought action against them for calling ministers "thieves".
Speaker Uday Narayan Chaudhary urged the members to maintain decorum pointing out to the presence of school students in the visitors gallery but, it did not work following which, he adjourned the House till recess.
