Briefing reporters about outcome of the Bihar BJP's state executive meeting held over two days at former Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi's official residence here, the state unit BJP chief Mandal Pandey said the party has chalked out round-the-year programmes beginning with celebration of its foundation day on April six and culminating in founding leader Kailashpati Mishra's death anniversary on November three next.
The Bihar BJP will organize dharna at the district headquarters from April 18-21 next against rising crime graph and price rise, the state unit BJP chief said, adding the spurt in crime was a fact under the Grand Alliance government, while the price rise has escalated due to imposition of various taxes on 600 goods by the Nitish Kumar regime.
The event will be followed by 'Yoga Day' at the division level on June 21 next, while Jan Sangh founder Shyama Prasad Mukherjee's sacrifice day will be observed at booth level on June 23 next, the state unit BJP chief said.
The Bihar BJP will organize booth level functions to mark Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya's birth anniversary celebrations from September 25 to October 11 next, he said, adding the party's final engagement of the year will take place on November 3 next to observed Kailashpati Mishra's death anniversary on which the senior party leaders and workers will be felicitated, he said.
