Bihar BJP workers celebrate as Modi anointed BJP pm candidate

BJP workers in Bihar today wildly celebrated as Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi was anointed as the party's prime ministerial candidate for the 2014 general elections.
Hundreds of the BJP workers gathered at the party office on the Veer Chand Path here instantly burst into celebrations after the national president Rajnath Singh made the announcement in New Delhi anointing Modi as the party's prime ministerial candidate for the next general elections.
BJP leaders and workers burst fire crackers in the party office campus and outside illuminating the sky for nearly an hour to hail announcement of the Gujarat Chief Minister as the party's prime ministerial candidate.
Lustily cheering for Modi, the BJP workers distributed sweets to each other to mark the occasion.
Elaborate arrangements, like fire crackers and sweets in sufficient quantity, were made in the BJP officer earlier in the day under the supervision of the state unit president Mangal Pandey to celebrate Modi's anointment as the party's prime ministerial candidate as and when it was to be announced later in the day.
When asked about plans for celebrations to mark Modi's coronation as the BJP's prime ministerial candidate, Pandey told reporters that all required arrangement have been made in this regard and said that the occasion will be celebrated in a big way.
