Replying to a short-listed question, Water Resources Department Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary said 647 posts of women police had been created for these stations.
The state government had completed the process of recruitment of 1,000 constables and 2,300 sub-inspectors and the remaining vacancies at the women police stations would be filled from among the new recruits, he said.
Only Sheohar, Araria, West Champaran and Sheikhpura districts do not have women police stations at present, Chaudhary said.
