Light to moderate rainfall occurred at a few places in south Bihar since yesterday, it said.
With south west monsoon being normal in the state in the past 24 hours, Met department has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall at one or two places in northern and southern parts of the state tomorrow.
As per the bulletin, Purnea registered 28.6 mm rainfall and Gaya 15.4 mm while Bhagalpur and Purnea received 0.4 mm each during the day.
Patna, which witnessed moderate rainfall in the morning, witnessed a sunny day in the afternoon.
Bhagalpur recorded the highest maximum temperature of 36.0 degree Celsius, followed by 32.8 degree in Purnea, 29.4 degree in Patna and 29.0 degree in Gaya.
In its forecast, the Met office said that Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea are likely to witness generally cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thunder shower tomorrow.
