"The Bihar government should provide land without any delay for all central government schemes that includes the proposed Vikrmashila University, land for a dozen Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) which are running in temporary accommodation, NCERT regional institute etc.," Kushwaha told reporters here.
The state government could also make fresh proposals for setting up new KVs in the state, he said adding the government must come up with the land proposal.
Kushwaha said his party's delegation would meet Governor Ram Nath Kovind on November 3 and would submit a memorandum seeking his intervention for providing land for central schemes in the state.
Stating the Centre wants to open 200 KVs every year in the country, Kushwaha said out of 175 new KVs proposals from across the country, not a single proposal has come from Bihar government in the past one year.

For setting up a KV, he said 10 acres/eight acres are required in rural/urban areas respectively.
The Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) chief said the CM should try to improve the "deteriorated" law and order situation instead of undertaking tours of various states to realise his dream of becoming the Prime Minister.

About next UP Assembly polls, Kushwaha said the party would prefer an alliance with NDA but may go it alone if the talks did not materialise.
"At present, we are reviewing it (to contest UP polls). I would send a team to UP to assess the situation and then we will take a decision about the number of seats that the party wants to contest in the poll-bound state," Kushwaha said.
He announced a slew of programmes that the party workers would undertake right before the 'Chhath festival' to 'Sonepur cattle fair'.
The party's district unit has taken the responsibility of making one panchayat an 'Open Defecation Free' area in the first phase, the minister said adding party workers would carry out cleanliness work on November 4 to make at least one 'Chhath ghat' in every block a neat and clean place.
The workers would also clean various ghats on November 13 and 14,on the occasion of 'Kartik purnima' when people come to take a holy dip in river Ganaga, the Union minister said adding that he would be present on the occasion.
