Bihar govt promotes four IPS officers to DGP rank
Press Trust of India Patna Four senior IPS officers were today promoted to the rank of Director General of Police by the Bihar government and given new posting. 1979-batch IPS officer Krishna Chaudhary has been made DGP (Training), according to a government notification issued tonight. His batchmate Amrik Singh Nimran has been made DGP Fire Service and Home guards. Sunit Kumar (1980 batch) has been made DGP Bihar Police Academy while his batchmate P K Thakur will be DGP Vigilance, according to the notification. Two other senior IPS officers have been transfered. A K Upadhayay has been made Additional Director General of Police (ADG) CID while S K Bhardwaj will be new ADG Crime Record Bureau, according to the notification.
