"The victory of Mahagatbandhan in Bihar as the verdict against wrong and communal policies of BJP. Bihar has responded to communal agenda of BJP and its allies with ballot and sends a strong message to those communalising the situation for their vested interests," Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) chief G A Mir said.
Mir greeted the leaders of Mahagatbandhan Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad for the victory and thanked people of Bihar for displaying their faith in the Mahagatbandhan.
"The verdict is open message to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his team that there is no room for intolerance and communal frenzy in a country known for its secular character since decades," he said.
Praising Bihar people for reposing their faith in Mahagatbandan, the former minister termed them visionary with unshakable faith in secularism, communal harmony and togetherness.
