The decision in this regard was taken at the BHSA executive meeting where the attending government doctors decried Vyas Ji's "misbehaviour" with the senior doctor, BHSA Secretary-cum-Spokesperson Ranjit Kumar said.
He said that if the state government failed to act against the Principal Secretary (Health) by transferring him then the government doctors under the banner of the BHSA will intensify their agitation and organise a rally in the state capital on July 14 next and "if necessary may call for indefinite strike from August nine next."
Mandal had subsequently lodged a written complaint with the BHSA on May 15 last, he said.
The BHSA had written a letter on May 20 to the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi and the Health Minister Ashwani Chaube, besides the Chief Secretary A K Sinha and demanded action against Vyasji, but to no avail forcing it to consider agitation course, Kumar said.
The Principal Secretary (Health) could not be reached for comment on allegation against him by the BHSA.
