He said under Indira Awas Yojna, a total of 6.82 lakh houses were constructed under the scheme in 2012-13.
Mishra said under the programme, the Centre had provided Rs 1,275 crore of its share in 2012-13 out of which 7.26 lakh beneficiaries were given first instalment while 2.6 lakh received second instalment.
Acting on complaints, the state government in a bid to check misuse of funds under the scheme started providing money through banks and conducted videography, the minister added.
