Prominent entrepreneurs, traders and economists would be members of the council and their suggestions would be taken to formulate a comprehensive plan for Bihar's industrial development, Kumar said addressing an entrepreneurs panchayat here.
The investment commissioner's office would be set up in Mumbai and under the provisions of Single Window Act 2006 and the principal secretary to the industry department would head the state-level committee to be constituted for the purpose.
The committee would monitor the state Industrial Promotion Board's proposals.
He said the entrepreneurs panchayat would be organised on the fifth Monday of a month and would be the forum for exchange of views.
The steps would be positive and prove beneficial for bringing out industrial revolution in India.
Kumar said his government was ready to cooperate for expansion and extension of airports in Patna and Bodh Gaya and also for setting up airports in Purnia, Muzaffarpur and Darbhanga.
He assured action on the memoranda received by him from entrepreneurs.
