Bihar Legislature hails Nitish visit to Pakistan

In his opening remark on the start of a five-day long winter session, Speaker Udai Narayan Chaudhary noted that a delegation of National Assembly and Senate from Pakistan had visited Patna on August 25 this year and had a good interaction with legislators.

The chief minister, his deputy Sushil Kumar Modi and Leader of Opposition Abdul Bari Siddiqui were present in the House.

Chaudhary said, "The visit (November 9-16) strengthened the bond between Bihar and Pakistan and we came further close to each other."

In Legislative Council, Chairman Awdhesh Narayan Singh in his opening remark also made special mention of visit of the CM to Pakistan to promote good relations between the two countries.
