Kumar told reporters on the sidelines of "Janata ke Darbar me Mukhya Mantri" programme that the Centre was holding back Rs 12,000 crore alloted for construction of 20,000 km of roads under Pradhan Mantri Grameen Sadak Yojna (PMGSY).
"If the funds fail to come to the state in another one- and-a-half month time we will put 12X12 feet bill board at every project site with date of completion of the road project and highlight name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister of state for Rural Development Upendra Kushwaha for the same," Shrawan Kumar said.
Bihar has been at loggerheads with the NDA government at the Centre over the issue.
Recently the state Road Construction Department minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh Lallan had met Union Surface Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari regarding poor condition of National Highways in the state.
He had also raised the issue of reimbursement of about Rs 1,000 crore the state had spent from its coffer during Nitish Kumar times for repair of NHs in the state.
