The Arrah MP, who is a former Union Home Secretary, was called for a meeting with Ramlal following his statements in which he had targeted the party leadership during elections, party sources said.
Singh, who during the Bihar poll campaign had spoken against the choice of candidates of the BJP-led NDA, claimed BJP gave tickets to people with criminal backgrounds, stressing that some of them were not "ordinary criminals" but those on whom government had declared reward.
"Accountability has to be fixed. Review should be made of the election debacle. We need to find out what went wrong, who were responsible. That's what 'margdarshak mandal' said," he had said in a reference to the statement by BJP veterans LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Shanta Kumar and Yashwant Sinha.
