Munger Commissioner Lyon Kunga today received the threat letter in the name of ISIS which also sought Rs 50 lakh for the outfit.
The letter which does not have name and place of the sender, was received by post. A copy of it was also found pasted on the wall of the Commissioner's official residence, Deputy Inspector General of Police S P Shukla told PTI.
The letter sought Rs 50 lakh for the outfit as well immediate clearance of waiting list of Indira Awas Yojna and recruitment in Accounts section, the DM said.
After the meeting, the officials came to the conclusion that it appeared to be the handiwork of some local persons, the Commissioner and SP said.

The letter pasted on the wall of the entrance of the Commissioner's residence drew the attention of the guards today morning who reported it to the Commissioner.
Though officials dismissed the letter as being done by some abnormal person, security for the Commissioner was enhanced with deployment of more policemen, the SP said, adding that "we are investigating into the matter," to find the sender of the letter.
