Saket Kumar (45), cousin of managing director of Police Building A K Gupta was taking a stroll when unidentified gunmen fired at him, killing him on the spot, Senior Superintendent of Police Amrit Raj said.
Police acted swiftly and captured two of those allegedly involved in the killing, Raj said.
One nine mm pistol and eight empty cartridges were recovered from the site, he said.
