The state also received light to moderate rainfall at a few places in the other parts of the state.
Patna witnessed 21.2 mm rainfall followed 12.4 mm in Gaya, 11.8 mm in Bhagalpur and 0.5 mm in Purnea in past 24 hours (recorded between 8:30 am on Saturday to 8:30 am on Sunday).
Gaya and Bhagalpur received 1.4 mm and 0.3 mm rainfall respectively, it said.
Places like Hasanpur and Rosera received 6 cm rpt 6 cm of rainfall each, Palmerganj, Rajauli received 4 cm each while Minapur, Sheohar and Siswan recorded 3 cm each, Met office said.
In its forecast, the Met office said Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea may witness generally cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thunder shower.
