Former JNUSU vice president Shehla Rashid's mobile phone was snatched by unidentified persons in Khan Market here, the police said today.
The incident took place on July 30 when Rashid had gone to the market. The mobile case also contained her ATM card.
She alleged that the incident happened in front of a police post and the police could do nothing.
"My phone was snatched from my hand at the intersection of four CCTV cameras in front of a police post, outside Bahrisons, Khan Market, by two guys on a bike without helmets.
"And the police can't do anything. So much for surveillance, policing and interception," she wrote on Facebook.
