Bill Skarsgard joins voice cast for 'Moomins'

Actor Bill Skarsgard has joined Alicia Vikander in the voice cast for "Moomins and the Winter Wonderland".
The 26-year-old star will voice the protagonist Moomintroll in the film that also features his father Stellan, who joined the cast as the voice of Moominpapa, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"So excited to be a part of this lovely project and bringing Tove Jansson's fantastical world to the big screen. I grew up with my mom and dad reading Moomin and their adventures to me at bedtime, so it will not be the first time I hear my dad voice Moominpappa," said Skarsgard.

The animated film is based on Tove Jansson's original books. Malgorzata Wieckowicz-Zyla, Piotr Szczepanowicz and Ira Carpelan are writing the screenplay.
