A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting presided over by Haryana Chief Secretary, P K Chaudhery, here.
The tentative places for these facilities is Faridabad, Hisar, Jhajjar and Karnal, an official spokesman said.
The Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment plants at these places would cover hospitals of the entire state.
The Chief Secretary also constituted a committee to be headed by the Secretary and Principal Secretary, Health, for drafting and finalising the process to pave way for establishing these.
Chaudhery directed for seeking subsidy to the tune of Rs one crore from the Union Ministry of Environment and Forest for setting up these projects and contribution of Rs 65 lakh by the state Pollution Control Board.
The municipalities concerned would give land, which would be in the outskirts of the proposed cities, for this purpose.
