"MP's agriculture growth is remaining constant at two digits since last 12 years which was something extraordinary in the country," Singh, the Minister for Rural Development, said here at the inaugural session of a two-day national workshop on good practises in rural development sector.
The state has been registering growth-rate of over 20 per cent in the agriculture sector.
Singh said rural areas of the state made tremendous progress under Chouhan's leadership, whose "model of development is being praised across the country".
Representatives of Madhya Pradesh are in constant touch with my ministry to get different schemes implemented in the state, Singh said.

"We want the economic upliftment of the villages under SAGY," he added.
The minister informed that 88 per cent of MP's -from both the lower and upper house of Parliament have selected villages under the scheme.
