Bitti was being taken to Jaipur to be produced before a Magistrate court despite the high court order restraining police from taking him to Rajasthan till December 13.
His counsel today filed a contempt petition against the jail superintendent for not obeying the high court order.
The Kerala Armed Police had taken Bitti to Jaipur by the Kurla Express at around 8.45 PM on Dec 6 to be produced before the Jaipur Metropolitan court today, his counsels Advocate N Narayanan and Advocate Nicohlas Joseph said.
However, after being asked by Kerala police to bring him back, the Kerala Armed police ended their journey and returned this morning from Mumbai with Bitti.

The high court was informed by the government pleader that the accused had been taken back to the Kannur jail.
The court had earlier directed that Bitti, an accused in the Alwar tourist rape case, should not be taken to Jaipur till Dec 10. This order was extended till Dec 13 by Justice Harun-Ul Rashid.
