dissidence in the Congress, Tagak said the impeachment motion and composite floor test were brought by the party's 11 MLAs along with two Independent members keeping in view the leadership crisis in the state and being a responsible opposition party in the Assembly.
"People have given their mandate to the Congress for development, not for infighting," he said, alleging that government funds were looted by Congress workers in collusion with the chief minister and his council of ministers.
When asked on the Governor's role in advancing the Assembly session, Tagak said the Governor did it in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution.
