"Benami land was purchased in the name of a firm owned by the Chief Minister's son and daughter... And he had concealed the fact in his affidavit filed before the Election Commission during the 2012 Assembly polls," BJP leader Randhir Sharma said at a press conference here.
He claimed the farm house spread over a two-acre plot at Mehrauli in New Delhi, valued at about Rs 25 crore, was bought by Singh's family members at a meagre amount of Rs 1.20 crore. The BJP leader also alleged evasion of stamp duty in the deal.
Earlier, the BJP had alleged that Singh had received loans from businessman Vakamulla Chandrasekhar in return for favours to his firm.
Singh has filed defamation cases against senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley and former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister P K Dhumal and his sons for the allegations.
