Charging Speaker Kunjwal with forgeting his constitutional responsibilities and acting as a "political tool" in the hands of Harish Rawat, state BJP President Ajay Bhatt said, he doctored Assembly documents at the former chief minister's behest in the dead of nightto suit his political ends.
"If a CBI inquiry is ordered, both of them will be in the dock," Bhatt told at a press conference.
Hitting back at Rawat for holding Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah responsible for the political crisis in Uttarakhand, the BJP leader said, "What an irony."
"Is the man visible in the sting CD, Modi or Amit Shah? Forensic lab has tested the CD and certified its authenticity. I fail to understand the logic behind targeting BJP leaders for the chinks in your own armour," he said.

BJP will stake claim to form a government in Uttarakhand, Bhatt said.
Bhatt also challenged Kunjwal's authority to disqualify rebel Congress MLAs from the membership of the House after the imposition of President's Rule in the state, alleging that by doing so he had shown disrespect towards the constitutional post.
"The hearing on disqualification notices to MLAs which was underway at Vidhan Bhawan should have been immediately stopped after President's Rule was imposed. By carrying on the hearing, Kunjwal has shown disprespect to the President's office," he said.
