BJP appeals to RWAs to take part cleanliness drive

Delhi BJP today urged the city's RWAs and trader organisations to take part in the cleanliness campaign in large numbers.
"RWAs, traders' organisations and BJP workers should implement the Clean India Campaign of Prime Minister with full honesty. It should not be a symbolic program because this will not benefit the Government but each and every citizen of the country," Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhya said.
Upadhyay, who today launched a cleanliness campaign in market of Safdarjung Development area with RWAs, also said that it was a matter of happiness for the country that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has himself raised this issue before the country.
Meanwhile, a meeting of the party office bearers, MPs, MLAs, district presidents, general secretaries and the convenors of cells was held today for expanding the partnership of the people in PM's Clean India Campaign on October 2.
