"Kumar is the mask of the Bihar government with the actual power being wielded by the RJD supremo who has been convicted in the fodder scam and has been barred from contesting polls," senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi said in a statement.
Stating that about a "dozen scams" had taken place in Bihar during the 15-year-long RJD rule in the state and that several ministers were jailed on corruption charges, Sushil Modi asked Kejriwal whether or not the Nitish Kumar government was surviving on that party's and Congress' support.
Sushil Modi also charged Kejriwal with forgetting his own tweet in which he had questioned the court for not passing an order for recovery of crores of rupees embezzled by the RJD chief in the multi-crore fodder scam and expressed disappointment with Prasad getting lighter punishment of five years imprisonment and Rs 25 lakh penalty post his conviction in the scandal.
Observing that the Bihar Chief Minister has shaken hands with Prasad whose party's rule was widely described as 'jungle raj', Modi asked Kejriwal whether voting for the senior JD(U) leader in the state Assembly polls will not amount to bringing it back in Bihar.
