BJP bats for social media

Describing social media as a powerful tool to change people's mindset, BJP today said it would be used by the party to highlight achievements of Narendra Modi government at the centre and "misrule" of BJD in Odisha.
"The achievements made by the BJP-led government at the Centre and misrule of BJD in Odisha will be highlighted through social media by our party," BJP's Odisha in-charge Arun Singh said during the launch of state party's new website 'www.Bjpodisha.In' here.
He said social media would create a wave in the country bringing about a change in the attitude and mindset of the people and attracting them towards BJP. The party's membership drive can also be given a boost through social media, the senior BJP leader said

Social media networks including Facebook, Twitter and You Tube can be used to spread the mesage of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's theme of good governance, Singh said.
Issues affecting public would be highlighted and insatnces of misrule during BJD regime exposed with the help of social media, he said.
