BJP candidate manhandled in Agra

BJP candidate from the Agra North Assembly seat Jagan Prasad Garg was today allegedly roughed up by some unidentified persons when he was campaigning in Balkeshwar area here.
The five time MLA staged a sit-in and said if the police does not nab the culprits within 12 hours he would continue his protest.
The BJP leader alleged that he was a roughed up by workers from the Samajwadi Party.
Joining Garg on the 'dharna' was Kundanika Sharma.
Sharma, who defected from the BJP to the Samajwadi Party, has filed her nomination as an independent from the seat after being denied a ticket.
No one has been arrested and the matter is being probed, police said.
