"The NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given special focus to Jammu and Kashmir to take the development scenario to new heights. The Centre will continue its support to the state government as a lot of (development) work is still pending," Singh said, addressing the rally which was attended by BJP national vice president Avinash Rai Khanna, state leaders, Members of Parliament, ministers and legislators.
Khanna, in his address, said the BJP had ensured implementation of every scheme started by the Centre at the ground level.
"The BJP has worked to see that every single scheme reaches the targeted population," he said and asked the ministers to double their efforts in serving the people of the state and ensure that public again gave them a decisive mandate.
State BJP president Sat Sharma said the coalition partners honoured the mandate given to both the parties in the last Assembly elections. "The alliance is based on the development agenda for the state," he said.
