Shettar and the party's Karnataka unit President K S Eshwarappa, himself a contender for Deputy Chief Ministership, left for Delhi this evening with a list of prospective Ministers to get the high command's stamp of approval.
According to party sources, none of the Ministers in the D V Sadananda Gowda cabinet are likely to be dropped, while there will be new faces in the Ministry as Shettar's predecessor had held some 20 portfolios.
Earlier today, senior party leader Rajnath Singh, In-Charge of BJP affairs in Karnataka Dharmendra Pradhan held consultations with Shettar, Eshwarappa, H N Ananth Kumar and B S Yeddyurappa on the ministry formation exercise.
RSS leader Santosh and Satish also accompanied Shettar to the national capital, sources said.
