Organised as part of the national training programme, the two-day workshop is being attended by 352 party leaders and will help the party develop dedicated workers and put in place trainers for improved communication within.
This workshop is part of BJP's three-fold programme to strengthen its organisation across the country which started with 'Maha Sadasyata Abhiyan' (membership drive), followed by 'Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan' (mass contact programme) and now 'Maha Prashikshan Abhiyan' (mass training programme).
He claimed that the membership drive through which 11 crore new members was enlisted was not just to create a machinery for winning elections but also to create a group of workers who would be committed to work for creating a true welfare state in India based on principles of party ideals.
'Karyakartas' are expected to spread the ideology of the party and participate in the nation building process, he said.
Shah noted that political parties were usually formed or have originated due to some revolution or as a result of a movement against certain issues or as instruments for attaining political powers.
Expansion of the party geographically and through number of 'karyakartas' will be a significant development in the party's life, he said, adding that trained workers will lead the party in their respective regions efficiently. He said the effects of training have also helped the party in winning mandates in state after state.
