Jai Samyakandhra Party (JSP) president and former Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy today criticised the BJP, Congress, TDP as well as YSP Congress over the issue of the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and urged the people not to vote for them.
Addressing a public meeting in Rayachoty town, he alleged, "BJP connived with Congress party to divide the state undemocratically, for which TDP and YSR Congress extended their support by giving letters and directions to the national parties to achieve their goals of attaining power."
Citing the remarks purportedly made by TDP chief Chandrababu at Nalgonda and Warangal, Reddy said, "Chandrababu himself accepted that due to his letters Telangana was formed. But, now in the residue state he is criticising Congress for the state's division and joined hands with BJP, who are the main cause of the state division."
"YSR Congress has shown the way for division. Then how can the people of Seemandhra, who are integrationists, vote for these separatist parties? In the process of state bifurcation, all parties colluded for their political gains," he alleged.
In future as well, political parties may divide the remaining states into pieces for their political gains at the cost of national integration. If people accept the present division of AP by casting their votes in favor of those parties, which supported the division, it will lead to disaster, he warned.
"Leaders and political parties are not permanent. Only state and Telugu speaking people are permanent," Reddy said adding that his party would fight till they achieve their goal of unifying the state.
