"There are various issues on which debate and discussion is needed in the house but the government wants to avoid it. We demand for at least ten sittings," Leader of Opposition Vasundhara Raje said today.
She was speaking after adjournment of the house for the day.
Deputy Leader of Opposition Ghanshyam Tiwari said BJP members walked out of the Business Advisory Committee meeting today when they were "informed" that the session would be no longer than two days.
"Our demand is that the session should be of at least ten days so that the issues of FDI in retail, hike in power tariff and fuel prices, corruption and inflation should be discussed properly," he said.
